Alton Estate is situated in the Maskeliya Upcot agro climatic area in the Nuwara Eliya district and has a history that can be traced back to 1927. The Estate, covering an area of 350 Ha, is 10Km from Maskeliya and 22Km from Hatton, nestling at an elevation between 4700 and 5550 feet.
